Colt Woodsman Value?

I now own a beautiful Colt Woodsman 22 pistol with original paperwork. Is there a way to discover when it was built and approximate value?

I would judge the condition to be 90 to 90%. It is pristine.

Rusty Dog,

Year of manufacture is easy. Post the serial number with the last three digits x-ed out and somebody on here will look it up for you in a standard reference. Value of guns has gone wild lately and standard references are obsolete. Your best bet may be to look up Colt Woodsman on gunbroker.com and see what a few are going for that are similar in condition and age to yours.
