Beretta CX4 storm adapted for Glock mags?

Has anyone adapted a Beretta CX4 storm to use Glock mags? Or is this another bad idea.

If you read my previous Thread you will see where I am going with this.

Thanks

no idea what thread you are talking about but I would probably say that this is a VERY bad idea. both the PX4 and 92/96 have different grip angles from the glock and you would have to mill out way too much plastic to get the glock mag to fit. as it is I can see no reason why you would want to in the first place. the 92 and PX4 have the same ammo cap as the glock 17 and 33 round magazines in pistol grip magwells tend to throw guns, especially light weight carbines way off balance.

Back ground Info

The CX4 is adaptable to LH Shooters. Which I am one.

Kel-tec sub 2000 doesen't look friendly to LH shooters, but it takes Glock mags and is adaptable to Sig, Beretta, and S&W mags. And I have plenty of Glock mags.

I was hoping to get the ergonomics of the CX4 and the adaptability of the Kel-tec.

I own both guns and just so happened to have both magazines in front of me.
The height of both are the same, the slot for holding the mag in the gun is much lower on the Beretta which would mean that you could cut a small hole on either side of the mag and that would be easy to modify. But the Glock is thin where the Beretta mag release is.
The big problem is the width of the mag where the Glock wider but the real stopping point is the top of the mag. The Glock is much straighter until you get to the very top where as the Beretta taper starts much lower.
Also the angle is not the same by a good number of degrees
The photo of the Beretta shows how far you can shove a Glock 34 mag.
The other is a comparison between a Glock and a Beretta mag.
My suggestion is to go with the 92 mag version of the Beretta which you can get larger capacity mags for.

Thanks for the info Mr.Ozzieman. Now I need to decide if I want to give up one of the Glocks to fund a Beretta. Remember when the CX4 retailed $479-$519. Oh the good old days.

Thanks Again

No problem, I know they make 30 round mags for the 92 and 20 but never tried them.
The Beretta is a pricy gun but one that I wouldn’t hastate to buy again. The only other gun I would consider buying is the Kriss but it’s even more expensive.
Cheaper guns like the Hipoint are just that, cheaper. The one I had years ago, it was reliable but it felt like a cobbled together collection of odd parts.

Mine doesn’t actually use the 92 mags but the Cougar 8000. They are very close to the 92.

If you want a pistol caliber carbine that holds a bunch of bullets, don't forget about your old friend Uzi! The Uzi is not so unfriendly to lefties. It doesn't have the long stretch of rail on the top that the Beretta has, though.
