Your favorite revolver grips?

Everyone has their own favorite revolver grips rather it be because of looks or the way they fit your hand. If they be on your safe queen or your every day shooter and you like them then show them and tell why. I'll start with my favorite a pair of round top service grips on my S&W Model 14-8. These grips were made by Don Collins from ivory colored DuPont Corian. I have small hands and these grips fit me and the gun just perfect and they look pretty nice also.

That looks very nice. I don't have any fancy grips on any of my handguns, though if I could find someone that makes the faux ivory fleur de lis grips for both my Cimarrons (Model P and 3.5" Thundered, both in .45 Colt), and had some extra money, I might snap 'em up.
Again, I dig those grips on that revolver. Looks quite striking.

Most all of mine wear Bear Paw grips. Fit my hands... My Bisley revolvers still wear the factory grips.

I reckon these are my favorite, or at least very high on that list. They are fancy walnut from Lett grips on my Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt:

But then, these mesquite grips from CaryC rank right up there, too:

While the black micarta grips that came with my bird's head Vaquero felt just fine, they did not look right to me.

I ordered some stag grips from Sack Peterson, and I think they create a better look:

Wheelyfun, that SP101 is a knockout. Is the finish a bead-blast? It doesn't look stock.

Tom Servo - - - + 1 yep, works for me too. I've tried lots of grips and the Ahrends Tactical round to square conversions work best for me in an N frame. I usually don't like finger grooves. But on that model Ahrends they are perfect for me.

That SP101 has been worked over by Gemini Customs, and yes, the finish is bead blasted.

I hate to talk about it, because then more people will start looking for them and buying them, making them harder to get. I have been a fan of Fuzzy Farrant's grips since the mid 1970's, but got away from revolvers back then, and have be on the watch for nice Farrant grips for some years now, and have several revolver equipped with them. Nicely made, and unique in design, there is really nothing like them currently being made. Here is a pair I sent off to have carved. [IMG]

These are the best looking stocks I have:

On the left are some elk antler magnas from Grashorn. On the right are factory N-frame round butt combat stocks in dark walnut.

I have to admit, for shooting my hand fits and likes the ugly Hogue rubber stocks the best.

For a non-target revolver, my favorite grips are the Herret "Shooting Ace" models. They fit my hand perfectly.

The best grip for me has always been the Pachmayr Presentation on an N-frame S&W, for feel, control and accuracy.

Single Action .45 Colt (Sometimes colloquially referred to by its alias as the .45 'Long' Colt or .45LC). Don't leave home without it. That said, the .44Spec is right up their too... but the .45 Colt is still the king.
