CZ 75B vs CZ P-09 vs P-07

I Am looking at getting either a CZ 75B or a CZ p-09 or P-07. I have a Glock 19 for concealed carry; but am wanting a hammer fired range gun. Other than the FNX 9. The CZ models have really caught my attention. I like the CZ 75 as it is a classic but wandered if the P-09 or p-07 might have better triggers also the have adjustable back straps. Any suggestions on which model would be the best choice for accuracy?

I am in the same boat as you as far as the Glock goes. I chose a 75-B simply because I picked one up and fell in love with it. Don't know about the others.

The P-07 is virtually identical in size to the Glock 19 provided ya want to carry it from time to time. Mine is currently the most accurate pistol in my arsenal. If it's gonna be strictly for range use, can't go wrong with either the P-09 or CZ-75B. Out of the box the 09 will probably have a better feeling trigger.

In my case, my P-01's trigger has smoothed out nicely and feels just as good as my 07. YMMV

They'll be virtually identical. You'll see more variance from barrel to barrel, slide to slide, and ammo in that combo than you ever will between models.

The CZ 75B Omega has a very similar trigger system as the P-07/09 while retaining the classic 75B look.

I went to a funshow a few months ago for a 75 and come home with the 09. I still want a 75 and could have bought one cheaper than my FDE P-09 but the feel and quality of the finish really won me over (19 +1 didn't hurt either)

I really like the grip better than the 75's.

In DA I can hit easy as pie which I'm really surprised considering I can't hit crapola with my p220. In SA the trigger is smooth as butter @3.5 or 4.5lb..it's just a great trigger IMHO. I now have around 1k rounds without any issues first 200 with factory ammo the last 800 or so my reloads. I wouldn't mind a second one just to customize with CGW's parts.

I wish they made the 07 in 10mm...

CZ 75 has more options for magazines, holsters, sights, and upgrades. I have a P-01 myself which I love. First thing to decide is whether you want compact or full size. Then you can look at pros and cons of polymer vs. metal.

Polymer series is cheaper and lighter and come with the Omega trigger system. CZ 75B series is metal. The P-01 is a lighter weight Al in the CZ 75B family. And you should also think about decocker vs. saftety. With the polymer series you can switch between decocker and safety. But with the CZ 75B you need to make the choice up front.

I have been looking hard at the P-09 and the biggest draw back for me is the stock sights (unless going to the FDE) and the lack of magazine options. I wish the Polymers where able to use the CZ 75B mags which I believe the obsoleted SP-01 Phantom was able to use (I may be wrong on that).

Also, the stock sights on the CZ 75B line are not so good in my experience. The Meprolights are a great upgrade.

And another thing which is personal preference, but I much prefer the decocker on the P-01 or CZ 75BD compared to the P-09. On the polymer stuff the mechanism / interface is different enough to not feel right to me. I would be all over the P-09 if it had more magazine options and a decocker that was like my P-01.

The compact lightweight alloy 75D PCR is the best of both worlds. It is a slightly smaller, and lighter 75 series, about the size of a G19. It does not have a light rail though. If you want that the P-01 is similar to the PCR but with a rail. There are other minor differences, but that is the main one. Both are excellent for carry, range, and home defense.
