I am going to get some Scattergun Technoligies sights for my 870 Police Magnum . Has anyone put these sights on themselves ? I know they make a jig for the rear but the front epoxies and pins in place and I was wondering if this was a pretty easy do it yourself project or if I should send it to Wilson . Does anyone have any experience with their Armor-Tuff finish ? I was also thinking about getting their OD finish on the shotgun . Thanks , Mike...

I have a Wilson Classic 1911 with the Armor tuff. I like it and it looks good. After a while it will wear off the high spots, but i think on a Shotgun where there is no holster wear that you will be set for life. Anyway, Wilson will stand behind it for life, so as long as they are around I would not worry about it. Looks like flat black truck bed liner with a lite texture. Looks nothing like bluing or parkerizing.

Mike, they aren't difficult to install. You should be able to do this yourself. If you have problems just e-mail me. George
