Traveling ga to fla
Sorry if this is under the wrong topic. Moderators please move if necessary. I have a ccw for ga and I am traveling to fla for vacation, is there anything I need to do or will my permit carry over while on vacation. Please list rules. Thanx.

You'll be fine. Ga's laws are so close to Fl's that you'll feel right at home.

Ok thanks. So I'm good with my loaded weapon in the car with me?

In a car either conceal it on your person or put it in a glove box/center console, etc. Technically, a snapped holster is good enough but there are too many officer's that don't know the law and it is better to overly cautious.

GA and FL have CCW reciprocity
Here, you can have it on you in a restaurant bar - think Applebee's - just not AT the bar |

Also, Florida allows for concealed carry only, so keep it under wraps.
