shotguns in Ukraine

In watching far too many drone videos from Ukraine, it seems the shotgun in many versions, has surfaced as an "anti-drone" weapon. I've seen combat video of over/unders, sporting semi-autos, and pumps. I have not seen the AK pattern shotguns but they are likely there one would think. I have also stumbled upon apparently Russian based videos of specifically developed "drone loads" that appear to be about T-shot size, maybe BB at smallest.

I know that US forces are training with shotguns in the anti-drone role as well.
Anybody know anything about US military drone loads?

It seems the combat shotgun has found new life/

I remember when drones first started being used to snoop on people in their homes--I thought "this is awesome--flying, intelligent shotgun targets!" Very illegal, though.

Anti-drone loads are using nylon string in some loads, and carbon fiber strands in others.
They're still testing.
All include some solid projectiles, but disabling propellers has been found to be better than causing direct damage.

Another example of what's old is new again. Sounds like a modern take on Chain Shot.

I did a little bit of searching yesterday, through the archived Ukraine War channel on a discord server that has been running since before things kicked off.
There are a lot of reports about just about every possible load being used, but very few uses of anything but 12 ga.

Popular picks are #4 buck, anything with kevlar strands/nets, and Norma's anti-drone load that has 34g of tungsten #6. (350 pellets, ~525 gr, 1,330 fps)

Russia seems to have turned almost exclusively to a load with a kevlar net and some solid projectiles, but I cannot find any other details.
Russian troops, however, are not getting much of that.
So, some troops on the front lines, and a few "boutique" ammo makers (3 guys in a shed?) are making rat shot loads out of rifle cartridges.
Russia, supposedly, does have a rifle load with a solid tungsten bullet (jacketed?) that is meant for taking down larger drones, but I could not find a single report of that ammo being seen in Ukraine.

What about a multi barrel gun in a small caliber, 25 auto, 32 auto, 380 etc.

22lr first came to mind and maybe it would be fine, possibly 17HMR or 22Mag?

These obviously attached to a Hummer or similar vehicle, not necessarily shoulder fired.
