rem 1911 r1
I bought a rem 1911 r1 last nov! Realy love the gun! Only one complaint. It shoots 4 inches low left at 25 yards from a rest! Sights are fixed... contacted remington. They said my sn indicates my 1911 has a match grade barrel and needed broke in. After 600 rounds the groups got much smaller but still hits low left...... any thoughts on installing adjustable sights and what kind?

Send it back to them and have their custom people do accuracy work on it. Make sure you're not pulling it-----though I am sure you probably already have.

Buddy of mine has one of those fancy rest that helps elminate user mistakes. So I don't think I'm pulling it

Yep, if from rest, thats not right. Your groups are good?
Has anyone else shot it to make sure its not your trigger pull? Even from rest, its possible. 4" at 25 yrds seems like a lot. |

Yes 3 people other then my self have shot it.... average group at 25 yards is 1 inch 3shots in a small triangle pattern..... but is low left.... I had a local gunsmith work on the sights he now has it about 2 inches low left. He said he would just change them to adjusable sights..
