Who could make these grips for me?

I own a Ruger Redhawk .44magnum revolver. The rosewood grips that come on it fit my hand perfectly. However, they are a bit slippery. I have tried several of the aftermarket grips available for it. (My satisfaction with them has varied from "no good" to "garbage.") Anyway, I believe that I figured out the perfect grips for me. Here is what I want to have made for my Redhawk.

I want a set of grips the exact size, shape, contour, etc of the stock factory wood grips. However, I want them made of pretty firm rubber (like Hogue) and not squishy (like Pachmayr). Also, I want to have somekind of texturing on them. They would attach with the stock grip screw.

Anyone know where I could get these made?

If not, who would you suggest I send a pair of (extra) factory wood grips to for checkering work.

Well the guy above me answered it. But I love the .44 Ruger Red Hawk. Smoothest .44 I have ever shot.

That is the Hogue website. I don't like the Monogrip and the Bantam grips are horrible on a Redhawk. I think the checkered factory grips is going to be the way to go. Thanks.

What about stippling?
Not as pretty as checkering but easier to do.

I would try to make them myself. Buy several different types of Textured Paint/Coating like used in spray in bed liners for trucks. Look at DuraCoat as well. Test out the different ones on scrap pieces of wood. Do several of the same brand on different pieces of wood with varying thicknesses. Find the one you like the best, and the thickness you want. Then sand down the extra grips to allow for the thickness you desire and coat them with the one you liked the best...

That's just my opinion. You may spend $50 at the most on materials and you would have something that you made and can be proud of...
