Front sight options for a fixed sight GP100
I recently purchased a 4'', .38special, GP100 that has the fixed sights. What are my options when it comes to a front sight? I'd like a gold bead or tritium as this will most likely be my wifes bedside gun.

I tried a Gemini Customs red dot on my SP 101. I liked it, it was a nicely made item but it didn't perform well in lower light. He's a good guy to deal with and does offer a gold bead.
http://geminicustoms.imoutdoorshosti...ore/page2.html I then found a Mepro front sight from these guys. The SP 101 item is sold as a front sight only, as the rears are "built in." They also sell a set for the GP 100 but it's front and rear. I have not seen a front only set. http://www.arizonagunrunners.com/cgi...y=Ruger+Sights I like the front night sight much better. |

XS Sights has a front tritium sight I'm going to take a look at. They're close, so as soon as I get it back from Ruger, it'll go to them.
