I'm reloading 140gr FTX for 357 mag revolver. There is a cannelure, I was wonder if it should be crimped and if so taper or roll?

Yes, Roll. I am still quite new to reloading but all handgun ammo needs to be crimped, all revolver\levergun use a roll crimp. If you dont crimp the bullet can creep out due to the recoil and prevent your cylinder from being able to turn.
