Stock for Stevens 200

I am wanting to replace factory stock on Stevens 200 .308. I have chance to get factory wood stock that came off savage 10. All things being equal except that the savage had accutrigger. I have idea that trigger cut out in stock may not be the same. Does any one know if I can use this stock and what modifications I would need to make?

Check the bolt hole spacing/your magazine type. Newer rifles have the magazine attached to the stock, and 4.4" hole spacing. Older rifles have the magazine attached to the action and 4.25" hole spacing. Savage and Stevens rifles are interchangeable, but new and old patterns are not.

Have received new savage stock. Internal magazine and action screws are perfect fit; however had to do quite a bit of work with dremel to make trigger fit. Evidently accutrigger is a a bit narrower than old non accutrigger. Looks a lot better than did with synthetic stock.
