Mini-14 Loads
I have done the research on my rifle and have come to the determination that my mini-14 has a 1in10 twist.
I would like to hear of your experiences with loading for a factory mini. Best loads, problems and etc. Thanks for any input. My best load so far has been 25.0 gr. of Varget with a 60 gr.Flat base soft point. 10 rnds in@ 4in. |

My go-to load for my Mini 14 is H335 and Hornady 55 gr JSP. Check your load manual for powder charge details.

My Mini-14 has a 1:9 twist. Best load so far is 25 1/2 gr Varget, 65 gr Sierra SBT, Rem 7 1/2 primer and Rem brass. Biggest improvements came from adding a strut and some trigger work.

I recently acquired a new Mini-14 all weather. I would like to use the 60 gn nosler part. bullet. What is the cleanest burning powder for this rifle? Also which one would allow for 3000 fps out of its 18'' bbll?
