My Fathers Day Present

I just bought me a Savage Model 1895 Commerative rifle. It is a Modell 99 lever action in 308. It is mint I do not think it has been fired but who really knows? I got it without the box or papers but for $300 I figure I could shoot it and not get hurt. I just liked it no other real reason. I do not know how you could really tell if it has been shot? I would shoot it if it would not mess the finish up.
Happy Fathers Day
