load data for 140gr Missouri Bullet Company
So a friend of mine gave me these lead bullets because he ordered the wrong ones. He thought he was ordering the 180 gr lead bullets from Missouri Bullet Company and when he opened his package there was 2000 140 gr lead bullets. I got a chance to put together some pretty good loads with these.
Gun xdm 40 federal brass wsp OAL 1.125 all are shot with ten rounds 3.5 gr clays H 955 L 931 ave 939 ES 24 SD 7 PF 131 I really like this load. ![]() 3.7 CLAYS H 995 L 946 AVE 972 ES 49 SD 15 PF 139 3.9 CLAYS H 1039 L 968 AVE 1003 ES 68 SD 25 PF 140 4.0 CLAYS H 1052 L 999 AVE 1025 ES 53 SD 20 PF 143 4.2 CLAYS H 1067 L 1031 AVE 1044 ES 36 SD 11 PF 146 4.3 CLAYS H 1078 L 1051 AVE 1067 ES 27 SD 8 PF 149 I also loaded up ten 3.4 gr but it was late in the day and my mind was not functioning correctly. Fired the first five founds and the chrono only registered 3. After I reviewed the information, i went and fired the next five rounds which the chrono only registered 4. I thought it would add the seven togther but it only did the last four. I ended with a PF of 127 and ave of 911 fps. This load literally spit the shells in my lap as I SAT ON THE SHOOTING BENCH ![]() |
