what bullet does fedral power shock use

I was wondering if anybody knows what manufactures bullets is loaded into the 30-06 150 grain power shock bullets. up until I started reloading thats what I used because they produced sub moa groups n my gun for under 20$ a box. I tried calling the people at federal but the lady on the phone told me they make all their own bullets. I then asked her if they made the nosler partion, barnse tripple shock, and the sierra game kings bullets and she said yes to. I then tried to clarify the question for her and told her im talking about the "bullet" not the entire round of ammunition yall put together and sell in a box at Wal-Mart. She then insisted they make all their own bullets. I said that was very interesting and I need to talk to some in technical support hoping they might know something useful. but I ended up leaving them 2 messages and never got a call back. im sure some of yall reloaders know but im not certain what make it is.
This question really got me wondering (and yes I no that can be dangerous) but do the big ammunition companies just hire any old bill, Sam or Joe to work for their company. Also wondering what other manufactures yall have delt with and was actually impressed with. I Guess it really doesn’t matter that much now that I make my own, but when I do have to buy some for friends or conceal carry purpose I bet yall can bet what brand I don’t buy.

Winchester makes the Power Point bullet, but I don't know that Federal uses it? Federal has the Power-Shok line, which uses different bullets. The 150 grain .30-06 Power-Shok uses what they generically describe as a soft point bullet. Federal makes the Hydra-Shok bullet design for their handgun ammunition for themselves. I don't know if they make any others, like that soft point, or not? Federal is owned by ATK who also owns Speer, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some crossover in their general fare. One of Federal's heavier '06 loads boasts having a Speer bullet. They've stuck with the Sierra bullets for their match fodder, though, as with the others for special purposes, as you've mentioned. I suspect, when nothing is named, they've rolled the bullet for themselves. It might also be contracted to the highest bidder? If you're after accuracy, look at Sierra and Berger.

Everyone seems to have at least one person working for them who has no clue. Sierra's tech support has always been good to me. Ditto Hornady. I'm sure Berger and Barnes make every effort, too. That's just among bullet makers. I've had topnotch service from other outfits in the shooting industry, from Dillon to Lee, from the old Charter Arms to Ruger. YMMV. I've never had occasion to deal with Federal customer service.

I had some major problems with a box of Power-Shock ammo, about 2 years ago. After having to scrap the bullets (way too inconsistent) and brass (bad headspace), I decided to investigate the individual components.

All I could gather was:
1. Federal used Winchester Power Points in certain, older loads; until about 2008. (It varies, depending upon cartridge and load.) I gathered it was a component availability issue.
2. All Power Shock ammo should now have Speer bullets in them.
3. Federal offered to buy back, or swap my bad ammo. I had already scrapped it, though. They couldn't do anything for me. (It's business. I don't blame them.)

So... If your '06 ammo is fairly new, I'd bet they had Speer projectiles them.

As for my headspace problem... I had issues with 2 boxes of different types of Federal ammo; in 2 different cartridges; purchased 10 years apart. (-The only Federal factory ammo purchased during those 10 years. That's why it stands out to me.) Not a single person could verify the same problem, so I wouldn't take it as the norm. ...Hopefully, just isolated incidents.
