Kurt Gepke runs a great CCW class. You will feel like you are hanging out with a friend chatting about guns, while you learn what you need to know.
I don't know if it's standard, but for the shooting qualifier, maybe Kurt will also let you shoot his special toys! pm me for contact info if you'd like. |

sarana,
Since your last visit to Las Vegas, Nevada has ceased to recognize the Utah permit. FYI |

Don is right, unfortunately. That happened last summer; I believe Nevada took this action claiming that Utah's requirements for a CCW were not sufficiently stringent to meet the law here.
Nevada does allow out-of-state people to apply for and obtain a Nevada CCW, however, so if you're here frequently, it might be worth your while to consider it. (I carry both Nevada and Utah CCWs.) |

I'm headed to Vegas on Friday and meeting Kurt for my class on Sunday. I'm bringing my 2 Glocks with me and he's lending me his S & W revolver so I can qual on that at N/C.
As Phoebe said, his rep amongst the locals is outstanding. Here is a link to his website. I signed up because of her and a few other recommendations about Kurt Team Digit Ditto on the previous post. NV DOES NOT recognize either FL or UT any longer. |
