NRA DVD series: Personal Firearm Defense
Has anyone else received any of these DVDs?
The NRA sent me the first one (not too thrilled about their business tactics), and I'm actually surprised at the info contained in the DVD. I figured there would be a lot of stuff that I've heard before, but there is quite a bit that I haven't heard, and some very practical ideas. Do any of you have any experience with these? What are your thoughts? Worth the $$ they want?? |

Is that the one done by Rob Pincus?
If so I have a couple of them, along with his combat focus shooting book. I got the "Shooting in Realistic Environments" as a trial one in the mail and really learned a lot from it, but funds were very tight at the time, so I sent it back. A few weeks ago I found it and the Combat Focus Shooting & Home Defense DVDs on ebay. I think what Rob says makes good sense and now I'm trying to save up to take his Combat Focus Shooting class sometime next year. (If I can ever store up 1500 rounds of 9mm that is) Anyway, to answer your question, if you're like me, you'll regret sending it back if you do.
