Question about Montana Gold

I've seen several threads on various forums mention Montana Gold 223 bullets. Whenever Iv'e been on thier site, I've never seen anything but pistol.

My guess would be that they are majorly back-ordered on the 223 bullets, and thus, don't have them listed for sale.

I do recall them advertising the 55gr 22 cal bullet on their site before the hoarding mania began.

I got some from them a while back. I do not see them on the list any more.
My guess, they are putting all their current efforts into getting out of the 9MM (124gr) and other hand gun bullet backorders.

I bought 1000 357Sig bullets from Montana Gold Bullets not too long ago. I liked them so I went online to order more. They are not even listed, so I called them. The lady that answered said that they are busier'n a cat coverin' poop, or something to that effect. She said they will post them on their site once again when they have some to sell. I would assume it will be like that with the 223's. She also said some customers were pretty nasty to them. She sounded kind of pre-pi**ed when I talked to her. I apologized for our fellow loaders that were as short on patience as Montana, and all other suppliers are on stuff to sell us. What I can't figure is if people are so concerned about losing the right to own a black rifle, why are they hoarding pistol fixin's?

People are afraid of what might happen. There's been so much internet talk about, banning guns and ammo, Even the South America gun treaty, or whatever it's called, Could have provisions that would make reloading unlawful, or so expensive it wouldn.t be worth it. Some of these fears are unfounded....some are not. People are just plain concerned.

I emailed them earlier this month to see if they were going to have 44 Mag JHP available any time soon. Norm wrote back saying they have been extremely busy and hope to have enough time to make the switch from JSP soon. I was able to get 1K for my 40 S&W last month with no problems though. Just keep checking their website to see what's available.

Small caliber is flying off the shelves. Ask a gun dealer what is selling, pocket pistols and AR if they can even get them.

I recently e-mailed MG about their .223 bullets. "Not for several months" was the reply.
