has anybody played with or have anything to say about uberti/beretta repos of the s&w schofields?

Uberti lengthened the cylinder and did away with the gas ring. Powder fouling locks them up after just a few rounds. They work fine with smokeless.

Once the lawyer safety is removed the action becomes "slicker".
The 7" Schofield in .45 Colt was one of the most accurate pistols I ever owned but whereas a 5" one I also once had was below average in the accuracy department (200 grainer over smokeless). Bootsie aka Long Johns Wolf. |
