Picture of the new family member
Picked up my Smith & Wesson M&P40c Thursday. Thought I'd share a couple pictures, and one picture with his big brother the Ruger Super Black Hawk .44mag

The "evil looking little tool" fits into the bottom of the grip behind the magazine. It's called the "grip tool" also holds in the interchangeable backstraps

What's with that GIANT sized logo stamped on the right side of the slide?
And that uber tacky warning as well. I wish manufacturers would refrain from using such horrible looking markings. |

Good looking gun you got there. I had one and it was great, I sold it, not because it didn't function flawlessly because it did. Good luck with the new toy!

And they call Glocks ugly. That thing is grotesque.

Glokeroo, is there anything that you comment on that doesn't include references to a Glock?
![]() And for the record I own a Glock and don't own any M&P's, but I think that the M&P series are nicer looking than Glocks. This might mean that not only have I resisted the "Dark Side", but I slap it around like a little b^&ch! ![]() |

And another addition to the family! My wife picked up a S&W M&P40 full frame yesterday.

Nice "matching" set and pics.
I've been going back and forth between the M&P40 and 40c, I'm going with a full size. (For the first anyways ![]() |

Nice concealer S&W and a definite Burgular "pixx on himself" gun with that scope.

I bought the M&P 40 back in 07, took it to the range and hit cans at 25 m with the first magazine. really sweet. In Dec I bought the M&P compact 9mm. Same thing at the range. Really like these two. Also own an XD 9mm and have fired 2500+ rnds thru a Glock 17 at a training course. Almost had a Glock a coupla wks ago but someone else offered more money. All three are great weapons. But I really like the M&Ps. Enjoy.
