Kimber's 375 H&H Caprivi

Has anyone else seen Kimber's Caprivi (or am I just way behind)? Saw it for the first time in the latest AR mag. Man, that's a sweet looking rifle! The article was saying its action length would support larger calibers, such as 458 Lott.

Not that I'm unhappy with my CZ, but jeez. That Kimber makes me all quivery and stuff.

I read that article a second time last night. She's a beauty, for sure. I can't believe the accuracy they got out of her.

Oh, yeah...nice clean lines, great stock, good lookin' metal, 4+1 capacity, 3 position safety. Plus 1 MOA accuracy! That sounds real nice.

kittyhawk...the CZ shoots fantastic! I have the Safari American with the "normal" stock. Stock fit 'n finish is nice/tight. Function has been 100%, accuracy is very good (although I haven't yet measured group sizes), and recoil is distributed very nicely. The bolt cycles smoothly, ejection is positive, and the single set trigger is great. Easy to break down and clean.

I had a hellacious time scoping the thing. Tried Talley, then Warne rings, with a Leupold VX-III...always shot low no matter what I did. CZ rings worked perfectly. If you get a 550, seriously consider getting the CZ rings if you want to scope it. I had to eat a little humble pie when all was said and done.

Thanks For the Info. I have been looking at the same one with the double recoil lugs with the american stock.
I found one a Gander Mtn for under $1000.
I hope that is a good price.

Thanks

Dave
