Sears Model 53 (Winchester 70)

sources for rear sight please....I bought it with a scope mount; no scope, and want to revert to the iron sight.

If it is pre-64, I don't know if you can obtain the original type sight, but most gunsmiths carry a selection of sights and you can pick what you like. If the rifle is post-64, try the gunsmith or www.gunpartscorp.com for the original type. Or get Brownells catalog and find the one you want.
