Lighter .50 AE Load
I'm looking for some lighter loads for my Desert Eagle.
Is there a way to find the minimum safe load? Also I need to find a load that will still cycle the slide. Any loading data or experience? |

I can't help too much since I didn't buy mine to down load it. The best I can suggest is try the starting loads in reloading manuals. If you find a manual that used a DE for their load developement that should give you the answer to the lightest load that will cycle the slide also.

Didn't think about looking at test guns.
Thx. I didn't buy it to load down either but I just want to be able to shoot it more than I can now. |

I can understand that. I have a .357 and .41 versions also which I shoot when I don't want to beat myself up.
