Ithaca Gun Closes its Doors
I read in the recent issue of Gun Tests that Ithaca is shutting its doors. The article said Ithaca owed hundreds of thousands to various creditors, and the decision was made last year that it would close its doors for good at the end of this month. Does anyone have any further info, has there been any investors stepping up with some cash to buy it out? Sad day for the shooting world indeed

Jeez, I didn't know Ithaca still existed.
I haven't seen a new one in years. |

Ithaca just opened it's doors.
Same old name with new owners just opened up in Ohio. I looked at their website the other day but don't remember the URL. Edited: OK, there's the URL up there. Having the same name is not a guarantee of any of the former quality. Lots of old, established names are resurfacing under new ownership. High Standard is one. |

Boy, Gun Tests is a bit behind on their info. It reads on Ithacas' "About The Company" page that the company was sold and moved back in December. Thanks for the link Jart.
