Extractor spring
Kinda lost here
 Was having trouble with my P226 9mm not extracting the shell out....(Did everything before i got the parts) was told that it had to be the extractor or the extractor spring...order both of them..took it apart and mine doesnt have a spring...and am I missing something. i have the assembly and disassembly manual for Sig sauer. And it doesnt show it there at all. Got the parts from Brownells and it shows. A extractor spring on their schematics....could this be a older version?? mine has the extractor on the inside...thanks for any info

The schematics I have show the 225 with the internal extractor, but the 226 with the external type with a spring and plunger. In the 225, the breech block is removable; in the 226, it is not.
