Baby Eagle III sight issue
Hey all,
Hoping that there are a few of you out there with Baby Eagle IIIs that can help. I love my Beagle, with one exception... the thing shoots WAY LOW! I measured the front and rear sights, did the trig, and to get it to hit point of aim at 10 yards would require a .070" front sight post I think it was, way too short to be useful. I am thinking of swapping out for the Meprolight night sights, but I don't know if that would fix the problem or not. Soooo, I am wondering, has anyone else done that yet to their Beagle? If so, any chance you could get your verniers out and measure up the top and rear sight heights for me? If I had those, I could compare to the current heights and see what shift I might be able to expect. Thanks in advance! |

Why not contact magnum research and run your problem by them. Is the gun under warranty?

I already called them and the person that I talked to seemed to know far less than I did about these weapons. I kept getting the answer, "well you know these pistols are brand new and there isn't really anything aftermarket". When I asked about the sight height or technical specifics the person told me they had no information.
When I get that as a response my next step is typically to go to the real experts, actual users! If I don't get any feed back I understand, the user base for these isn't huge, just throwing out a line here to see if maybe something comes back. |

The sights a matched set? You do this one?(they sell DE and BE sights too)
https://dawsonprecision.com/sight-calculator/ If you see something for the Jericho M941, it'll fit. Midway lists a bunch of sight sets for BE's. The Meprolight Tru-Dot set runs $101.35. No BE sights shown on Magnum's site anyway. |

I appreciate the assistance. I saw those Meprolights, and I have those on another pistol I have and love them. I am nervous to drop another $100 on this gun though to find out that Meprolight just replicated the heights of the original sights and I am back to where I am now.
