A simple .22 question
Hi all, Can a .22 single shot rifle that says .22 short, .22 long, .22 long rifle on the barrle can that gun shoot a .22 magnum bullet it is just about a quarter inch bigger please answer this as quick as possible.

no, the chamber isn't long enough, thats like trying to shoot a 31/2 shell out of a shotgun with a 3in chamber.

no, putting a 22mag in a 22short/long could have bad conceqences, hurt your gun, and more importantly you.

Chamber isn't just too short, its too tight. A cartridge won't even slide in (suppose you could force it). But no, its not safe even if you got one into the gun.
