Thinking about reloading.

I am completely new to the concept of reloading. I'm drawn to it, as I recently purchased two very hungry and moderately expensive to shoot firearms (.270WIN and a .45ACP) and I would like to at least learn as much about reloading as an option as I can.

I would like to find a kit that can do both rifle and handgun cartridges, of course. But first things first.

Do I want a kit? What all will I need to get started? What kind of initial investment is this? Dangers? Safety concerns? I live in an apartment, will this take up a large amount of room?

After a quick read of the sticky, and a search of a few reloaders, this seems to be a good starter kit?

Any and all suggestions are more than welcome!

I reload .270 as well as .45. I have a Lee turret press and it works well for both. I get a lot more production when I'm loading .45 than .270 since rifle ammo iis more time consuming. I treat the press as a single stage for .270. You would need a press, dies for .270 and .45 plus a scale to weigh powder and some sort of kinetic bullet puller not to mention the appropriate powders, primers and bullets. As for your work space, you could store everything in the space a desk would take up. If you have room in the apartment and some way to secure everything away from prying eyes then you have enough room. I have read threads from folks who reload in an apartment and they had some ingenious setups. Here's some ideas.
