Finally, after much delay, I have dates for the OPS Defensive Knife class in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. See details below:

DEFENSIVE KNIFE
DATE: 31 August & 1 September 2002
COST: $295

An appropriate edged weapon provides an excellent alternative deadly force option for those times you can't carry a gun. OPS highly acclaimed 2-day Defensive Knife course is the premier entry-level edged weapons training in the nation. It covers a wide range of practical skills, and includes both use of a knife for in-extremis self defense and armed and unarmed defense against a knife wielding assailant. OPS Tactical Knife covers attributes of edge weapons, legal aspects, weapon selection considerations, deployment under duress, non-lethal and lethal techniques, forward- and reverse-grip cutting, plus spontaneous and standoff knife defense. Hands-on exercises address short, medium, and long range applications, including adrenaline state defensive simulation using FIST gear.

Class will be taught by Andy Stanford.
