I just watched The Accountant 2 the other night. In the finale, the hero’s are charging into the cartel camp in a Ford pick up. Jon Bernthal is sitting in the passenger side, firing some kind of AR/M4 carbine straight ahead, through the windshield, supporting the gun on the dash board. I told my wife, that’s exactly how to do that. You don’t hang out the car window, too unstable, you’ll drop the gun or get wham O’ed between the roof and door when you hit a big bump. You aren’t planning to drive that vehicle home after a battle against overwhelming odds. Front of the vehicle provides the most cover (lots of stuff in front of you, unlike a car door.
