Girsan 38 super question
I see where the Girsan specifies 10 round magazine for its
38 super, where most 38 supers in 1911 mode are 9 round and will interchange, i.e Colt to Tisas to RIA. Anyone know if the Girsan requires a special magazine? ![]() |

I see a Girsan .38 Super on Bud;s Guns that claims a 10+1 capacity, but every other listing for a Girsan .38 Super says 9-round capacity. I think the 10+1 is a mistake.

The mags with the plastic but are generally 10 rounders and the metal but plate ones are generally 9 rounders. Either will fit a variety of 1911s but the plastic ones stick out a smidge vs flush. Some have plastic followers and some the traditional bent steel.
