Budget Glass That Surprised Me – Vortex Diamondback Tactical Review

Hey everyone,

I just dropped a full review on the Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 FFP over on my YouTube channel The Hobby Gunsmith. I break down the features, clarity, reticle, and my overall impressions.

If you’ve been considering a solid scope around the $400 mark, this one might surprise you like it did me.

Would love to hear your thoughts or if you've run this optic yourself!

Stay sharp,
– The Hobby Gunsmith

have used one a little, not been around it enough to know how rugged they are. "if" they hold up over time, they are decent and price is not outrageous.

$.02

Thank you. Yea I feel like they have a great price point for the quality and features they offer.

I have a couple of the same model scopes in 4 x 16--which are even cheaper. Nice features, but they cut corners in quality of glass IMO. I put them in the "meh, OK" category.

I acquired a rifle with a diamondback tactical on it.
One trip to the range was all it took for me to make my assessment of the scope.
A friend bought it from me the next day for a couple hundred bucks. I think I got the better end of the deal
