I just saw that report on TV. The one about kids and guns.

Somehow, a 3 barf limit is strangely unsatisfying on this one.
I'm tempted to check out the message board and vent my spleen.

They actually show some good stats.
I did the "calculate your risk" and it says that I am much more likely to die of AIDS or hepatitis than a gunshot wound-30-35 year old male, 'other' race. In the other section they mention twice that vehicles kill more people than guns and that crimes involving guns are on the decrease.
The show stank out loud but at least the site designer had some modicum of integrity.

Well urchins will say one thing and do another when the adults aren't about. More disturbing is that ABC was willing to place a unsecured weapon (albiet disabled) around a public setting simply to exploit a agenda. What would have occurred if this 'safe' firearm was seen by another kid, a banger, security or fill in any blank you chose. Would the ABC film crew be able/willing to handle the situation. And if they had LE on site, the whole thing could be considered a form of proto-entrapment-by presenting a attractive lure that may not have been normally present. wierd
