Getting paid to stay at the range all day & shoot someone else's ammo. :D For a perfect day, make someone else clean the range and your guns. Never had that happen though. Oh well, shouldn't get greedy.

Happiness is....

... spending all day out in public with a 9mm on your hip, and coming home without having to use it.

... At the range, drawing from leather and puttng two fast hits in the chest of a shilouette target.

... Seeing your wife do the same, ditto.

... finding a real deal on guns, ammo, accessories.

... giving the quick-access gun safe a friendly pat before turning in.

... finding a friendly and supportive community at TFL.

watching the pure joy of a new shooter after he shoots a good group.

i still love outshooting my shootin' buddies.

a newly worked-up reload shooting a one inch group.

having someone i taught to reload getting into it with a passion similar to mine.

having members of the local law enforcement call me for weapons related advice.

outshooting a member of the local law enforcement. (it happens a lot, and i am not that good a shot.)

Happiness:
Watching your kids grow to be [b]good[/], responsible adults and teens.
Watching your wife, who gave you those kids, grow old beside you.
Having said wife say, as you both walk away from a proferred gun deal at the gun show - "That looked like a good deal on a good pistol. Why don't you back there and do it?!" Now, that really did happen, yesterday!
Watching the first shots out of "that good deal" go into the X-ring every time I did my part.
