i am looking for a good hunting action and receiver for my 7mm rem mag but not sure what to go with. i am going to buy a krieger barrel. was thinking of going with a remington because their is no delay or a savage bc of the triger

Howa 1500... Identical to Weatherby Vanguard.

I would go with the 700 action with the x mark trigger and set it around 3.5lb and you should have a real shooter. The 7 mag with the Krieger barrel should produce 4 inch groups at 600 yards I would beleive with good optics

Sounds like a custom or semi-custom build? Most gunsmiths are going to want to blueprint the factory 700 action before they hang a Krieger barrel on it. So I'd skip the Remington + blueprint and instead go with a Stiller Predator (http://www.viperactions.com/) or similar. You'll end up with a better action and better resale for not much more $.

Sako, kimber, CZ, there are plenty of good actions around. It's kinda hard to find a bad one IMO. Also any of the custom actions.
