i was wondering if a stevens 200 can fit into the savage 110 stocks or any oter savage stocks? i know the stevens is a no frills savage 110, so shouldnt it fit? and is there any other aftermarket stocks available?

I was reading about a guy who used one of these. http://www.combatstocks.com/Choate_TACTICAL_Stock_for_Savage_Short_ActionCenterfeed_Only.cfm
It was on a Stevens 200. I think as long as the stock is for a center feed magazine it should work. I have a Stevens 200 in .223 and love the gun. Someone should chime in here that has a little better idea about replacing stocks since I've never done it I'm no expert on the subject.

Check your reciever screw spacing and as long as the measurements are right for the stock then the Savage/Stevens are interchangeable.

Centerfeed SA have a different screw spacing than the older stagger feed SA Savages. So you will have to make sure that you have the right spacing like mentioned above for your rifle. Call Northland Shooter Supply (http://savageshooters.com/SavageForum/index.php?board=64) and he might have a factory take off to put on your rifle.
