i recently came across a marlin 1895 cowboy 26"octagonal barrel for 525$ nib
i feel this is a good deal im i wrong? i have two rifles chambered in 45-70(tompson contender/new england firearm)love the cartridge and id love to own a 45-70 lever gun or should i keep looking for a better price? havent spent much time looking at lever guns so.......:confused:

good deal, most I've seen are around the $595 mark.

Go for it. My 1895 was $500 slightly used. (Four rounds fired by an idiot who didn't believe in earplugs.)
