I have a cz 452, which I'm ordering a custom stock for.. most likely this one: http://rifle-stocks.com/modernclassic.htm in the GRADE A Claro Walnut.. which will probably leave me staying patient for about 4 months.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what scope would be best for a .22 target/varmint rifle?

The Nikon 4x32 rimfire is pretty nice. Clear glass and at about the right magnification for 22. If you are looking for something fancier, the Burris XTR 1-4x24 is nice with side parallax adjustment and a 30mm tube.

I have the Nikon 2-7 Prostaff on my CZ. It is a good size for the rifle. Pretty good scope for $129 as well

I would suggest lower magnification - maybe 2-7 or 3-9.
I have an 452 American with a Bushnell Legend 5-15x40. Scope feels a little too big for the rifle. off-hand at 5x, it is difficult to keep crosshair on target.
Anything over 9x - look for something with AO that goes down to 25 yards or lower.

How low does the AO go on the Nikon 2-7 prostaff?
