Guys this is NOT good. If this site was hacked, guess who the #1 suspects are. Anyone that liked off the hacked site. That means Oleg and Eljefe. We know they would not do it but this makes them the Top suspects. almong with a lot of us.

So, is http://www.statementsbyphilanthropy.com/ legit, or is it a parody? There's not really much of anything there that I can find. The only contact info that I can find is an e-mail address, yet they're trying to market amd sell lapel pins? In addition, half the links on the site are dead links.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Priceless! And as for "hacked", LEA's have to PROVE intent and ability. ANYONE can post a web site, and if you're not "nerd" enough, they can't get you. Even if you are, it's iffy for a conviction.

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

It's got to be a mistake. There was no hacking here. They just put the wrong suffix on the address, COM instead of ORG.

I wondered about that too, bulldog. I noticed the dead links. The tolerance one is real though, I use their stuff at work.

I agree that they probably put the wrong suffix on the link rather than being hacked. But this may help the Web counters 'count' more hits for the .com site. I don't think anyone here will get into trouble. If it is a 'real' site they need a few under construction signs.

This site has been around a while. I know who made it and it was to lure unsuspecting antis to it. It worked. Hope it stays on forever and they are dumb enough to hit on it.

Nancy,

Which site specifically are you talking about?

(Referring the CPHV) Hey I think he did a great job! He has done nothing wrong, The site is not hacked, as Dennis pointed out You can build whatever site you want, IF you use copyrighted material then you may have a problem, you would have to remove it at their request. I did the same thing with my Anti-HCI site, So far no ball cutters knocking on my door.. :) So Keep it up great job! You may leave my link right where it is if you like, no Worries........
As for the link to the CPHV? looks as though someone posted the link before he looked at the content, I think it is hilarious John is gonna get alot redirected traffic and may even gets some Pro gun ideas established before they realize where they are.... Bwahahahahaha Wish someone would mis type my site instead of HCI's....Gotta love it!

...“ They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” --Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759.

Whereas, to preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them; nor does it follow from this, that all promiscuously must go into actual service on every occasion. The mind that aims at a select militia, must be influenced by a truly anti-republican principle; and when we see many men disposed to practice upon it, whenever they can prevail, no wonder true republicans are for carefully guarding against it.
---Richard Henry Lee, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788

It's still there. I don't think it's a mistake or a hack. I think the pin maker sells "no gun pins" because there's a market, but at the same time, points people to a RKBA site as a personal statement.

My theory, or guess.
