I recently purchased a 30-30ted williams model lever action, with a sears robuck stamp on the barrel, and cant find any info on it (price, year of manf. ect..) if anyone has any info i would much appreciate it! " the only thing worse than missing , is missing slow"

If I remember right, the Ted Williams model is a Winchester 94. I remember reading in a book at some time that Sears started carrying them in 1965, so all the Ted Williams models are post-64 models.
Some barrel bands were different, but otherwise, it is a standard 94. They were fine guns, usualy good walnut stocks, and put food on many a table over the years.

My brother has one he purchased new in 1967 from Sears and he still hunts with it. They are a bonifide Model 94.

thanks (I knew he was a ball player) but didnt know if the guns were any good coming from Sears. the trigger is a little loose and the front sight a little bent but it fires like new. does have a nice walnut stock. does anybody have the blue book on it?
