Just picked some up from a buddy tonight in .308 168 gr. for the M1A. Listed as "match grade" on the box. He tells me it is suppossed to be great stuff and is supposedly not imported anymore. Made in Israel by I.M.I. . Anyone have any input on the quality of this stuff and what it might have retailed for?
As always, thanks
Steve

Samson was around several years ago but kind of faded away. IMI make good ammo.

IMI ammo is some of the best ammo you can get on the surplus market. I've shot a goodly amount and have nothing but praise for it. It is getting very hard to find now. Wish I could find a good supplier at reasonable prices. Made by the Israeli MilitaryIndustries.

IMI is making the stuff for our troops in Iraq.
And that's why you don't see much of it around these days.

Shoots very well. I have a bunch of Samson .44 Mag ammo. Wish I had more...

The last 12 boxes of Sampson .308 match I saw at the local store this past summer retailed for $12.99 per box-- it sold quickly.
