Remington SR-8

Can anyone tell me were I can find some information on and a picture for the Remington SR-8 in .338 Lapua? I was told it's for military use only. I've heard some talk about the rifle and it's caught my interest

I've not been able to find any reference to that model, from either tactical supply companies, Remington's website, nor from my bevy of search engines. Where did you hear of the rifle, and do you know if it is in production or whether it is still a prototype?

I have been told by two sources a picture and some specs are available. I also contacted Remington and came up with the same responses you did. Mel's Sniper page makes reference to the weapon. He was to send me a picture and some info. He said the difficulty obtaining info was because it was for Police only.
