Sounds like it will be a real shooter! Personally I would have added a second color somehow in it, but I would still say it looks nice. Excellent, and enjoy!

I am entertaining the idea of that, I just wanted to take it slow being that this is my first time using the duracoat.

Looks nice! How easy is the duracoat to work with? I've been throwing around the idea of trying it on my AR, but was thinking maybe I should test it on a less expensive gun like one of my 10-22's before I commit to the AR.

The duracoat was very easy to work with. Although it says only degreasing is necessary, I sanded everything with 400 grit auto sand paper and then degreased. Finish went on smooth, and very simple. I am very impressed with the duracoat. I did start with my 10/22 and moved up to one of my shotguns before I coated this rifle. I believe it to be a very good coating, and I have not experienced any issues with the action of the bolt after coating, it still slides very smooth.

The brake was right at $285 with the smith's labor to put it on. Yeah, I have not mustered up the strength yet to coat that scope....Probably soon though when I get my heart set on the final color scheme of the rifle.
