I've got a Carbon 15 C15M4, it's my patrol and plinking rifle. I've had it for a few years and it's been a great gun for me, very reliable and accurate, doesn't need to be run as wet as an aluminum receiver. It'll take all of the usual AR accessories. Mine has a Timney trigger set, YHM floating forearm, YHM gas block, LeVang Linear Compensator, CAA stock saddle and adjustable grip, harris bipod, and a Millett DMS-1 scope with Burris rings. I had the rear sight milled off of the rail to make it a flat top so it will accomodate optics better.

Talked to my friend with a carbon15. He said it functions well. No complaints. Just said if he could do it again he would go with an aluminum ar.

I just recently picked up a Bushmaster XM15-E2S (5.56) with ACOG scope. Nice set up and I really love everything about it but the TRIGGER.... It is simply just awful to say the least. Too much creep, too long a pull, etc.
Can anyone suggest a replacement trigger system and/or assembly for this rifle (two stage or whatever). Need name of mfg., model, type, etc. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

That is a complaint with most stock AR triggers. You don't have to buy a new one just send this guy your trigger and $35:

I put a Timney 3# trigger set in mine and it made an incredible difference. It's clean, crisp, no creep, and consistent. Also, it is literally a drop in replacement, well worth the money. It also comes in a 4# version.
