Survival kit
The search function doesn't seem to be working (otherwise I would have done a search on this first) but please fill me in....
I read in another thread about someone having a survival kit.... More specifically or to quote them "I have been putting together some grab n' go 72 hour survival kits..." in which a 'perfect' gun for the kit was the question of the post. This sounds like a great idea! I'm interested in hearing more. Anybody? Thanks |

Its a pity the search function is down. I have printed a number of good posts from here, which I used to improve my 72-hour kit.
Another word to search for here is "bug-out bag". Means the same thing. Another place you can get to now is Zions Camp. Go to the "gear and accessories" forum and there are a couple of current threads on 72-hour kits. Also a good forum on food storage. Here's a link. http://pub36.ezboard.com/fzionscampfrm4 |

Thanks! Why is the search function out for the count anyway?
Anybody else? |

Although I'd want some flexibilities in whatever other firearm/s I'd take along for "a ride," I've always got a S&W 317, an 11oz 8-shot .22LR revolver & at least a wallet case of another 30 rounds of various .22s - a 1/2 each of Collibri's no-powder rounds & .22CBs for way quiet shots - the rest are miniMags. This l'il shooter's just too light weight & handy to not have.

This may be the one you're thinking of. It was discussed about a month or two ago and has contributions of several TFL members incorporated into it.
