8208XBR in 308

Got a can of 8208, will be using it with Berger 168 VLD bullets. I have never used it before, are there any suggestions on a load. Am using Lapua brass and Federal 210M primers.

All of my cases are trimmed to 2.007 and I double weigh every load.

Just out of idle curiosity, what are you planning to shoot your new load out of?

A lot of folks really like 8208xbr.

Suggestion: do a normal load workup.

The 8208XBR and Berger 168 is a good combination, but it is impossible to say what will be best in your rifle.

I tried XBR in my 308 and didn't have great success in my R700 Varmint. It worked ok, but nothing worth keeping. I only worked XBR with 155 SMK's maybe you will find better success with the 168's. I'm having much greater success with XBR in my Bushmaster Varmint AR using 77gr SMK's . This seems to be a great combination.
