my Rossi M988 "Cylops" arrived.

This should be a fun addition to my collection. Now all I need is a conceal carry holster for it. :~)

Never heard of this gun, but good lord if it doesn't look intimidating.

I think they did make a 6in version............

I know this model was only imported for a few years 97 98 I think, and they don't offer it anymore. I have been looking for one since I became aware such a beast existed.

Cyclops is a good name. I don't recall seeing one before. Looks cool.

Recoil?

That long a heavy barrel plus ports? I bet it shoots soft with almost no recoil?

Where did you find it? And do they have anymore?

The BIG question is, what are you going to have engraved in that big blank space under the barrel?

Engraving? Hmmmm?, how about...

"Vengeance is mine", actually there is room for the whole preamble to the constitution. :~) I found it on one of the auction sites, I tossed up a bid I was sure would be low, but as it turns out it was not. Got to shoot it today just before it rained, it is well balanced during firing, and it feels comfy in my mongo hands, I think it's a keeper.
