sugestions with this load

Currently loading 9mm 124g/4.7grns unique/pmc and cbc brass/cci500 primmer/col: 1.065..... Fired from baby eagle and barretta 92fs.... Fired 30 rounds total, 15 each. Not bad groups. Hornady 7th Edition says for 9mm 124 xtp:Unique--4.0---900fps 4.5---1000 Maximum --5.0---1100fps. Would like to work up to something a little faster with accurcy. Cant find anything in the books to do so safely. Any help here would be great.

What bullet mfg/shape/type/composition are you loading that is 124gr.? More information is required.....

If it is the 124gr xtp you are reloading, you still have a little room to increase to 5.0gr Unique based solely on what you listed in your post.

the bullet is hornaday 124 grn hp/xtp. The book I have only has the 5 loads. Also, whats the best way to determine what presure these loads have. My baretta will fire +p+ rounds but I dont want to use because of ware and tear. The eagle I don't know? Still want to keep them both safe.

Switch powders and use Power Pistol, 6.7 grains or so should give you the power and accuracy you seek.

You are using a Hornady bullet and Hornady states (per your post) that the maximum charge with Unique is 5.0gr. That is your limit, provided you have not observed any excessive pressure signs in reaching that charge level.

Different loading manuals typically (almost always) give different information. What kind of reloading manual are you using?

recommend

Power Pistol is an excellent choice for the 9x19.

But I'd start from 5.6g.......

(Unique MAX might be around 5.4g.)

I'll second starting at 5.6gr.

My Speer manual (14th ed.) listed a range from 5.6gr to 6.4gr with Power Pistol for a 124gr bullet. I use 6.0gr will good results for me, with my particular gun.

Unique has a max load of 5.8gr with a 124gr bullet as per Speer's manual.
