CMMG dedicated 22LR

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=525333153
$335auctionprice+$40shipping+$15transfer = $390 in my hands and I feel pretty good about that price!
Been mildly interested in a CMMG 22LR AR for a while and I caught this one in a different search on gunbroker a few weeks back. Nitrided barrel which I really like. Wasn't what I was looking for at the time, but I book marked the auction and watched it. Turned over a couple times without a bid. I was free today when the auction ended, so I slid in a last minute minimum bid for an uncontested win. Of course, following basic market theory, that means I over payed. The cheapest I could find an upper new was a little over $500 and the complete gun runs about $650. All I can figure is no one liked the furniture. The pink works great for me. I plan to wrap it up for my wife for Christmas. Yes, she does like pink on her guns. It won't get me out of buying her another present, but it will stall any questions about me buying it in general!

If I really can't handle the pink OR I don't like the polymer lower I can always send it on its way later. I figure a complete lower, even of low quality, has to be worth $100 on armslist. The scope will find a new home ASAP.

I have a DPMS dedicated .22 LR that is quite similar to your CMMG, it is one neat shooting machine that will eat most .22 lr without complaint. Buy a bunch of Black Dog magazines and tons of 22 lr for the lean times ( what is that? You say the lean times are here) I am shooting twenty year old ammo and replacing as price allows.
The dedicated platforms are another dimension in AR fun and with it's 1/16 twist quite accurate with the weight and feel of a standard AR.

I've had a CMMG .22LR dedicated AR for a few years now. It's been a fantastic firearm.
